The Change erupted from Mathura when the Divine being himself slayed his Uncle King Kamsa and freed the Brajbhoomi from his tyraany. Krishna and Balrama finally made their way to Mathura and settled there. The entire Braj was engrossed in the enjoyment of independence but on the same time an alien power was waiting outside Mathura to demolish it for once and all.

It was the wicked megalomaniac of Magadh Jarasandh. Kamsa was his son in law and to vindicate the grieve of his twin daughters he at once attacked Mathura. Krishna and Balarama were more than invincible. They easily defeated Jarsandh but spared his life but somehow Jarasandh was obsessed with vengeance.
